About Lucas J Sayle

I am a husband, father, and Christian author passionate about telling stories that explore faith, purpose, and redemption. Originally from Michigan and now living in Central Florida, my life experiences, both personal and spiritual, have deeply shaped the stories I write.

My journey into writing began as a way to wrestle with meaningful questions of faith, identity, and belonging. My first novel was especially personal, inspired by a medical diagnosis we were given during my wife’s pregnancy with our son. That experience, combined with my own struggles with depression and the feeling of not quite belonging, became the foundation for a story centered on hope in the midst of uncertainty.

Before turning to writing, I served as an ordained minister and youth pastor, pouring into others through various areas of ministry. While that season has changed, the mission has not. Today, I use storytelling as a new form of ministry. Reaching people through narratives that challenge, encourage, and ultimately point back to Christ.

I also spent years coaching youth in baseball, football, and wrestling. An experience that taught me the value of discipline, mentorship, and perseverance, all of which find their way into my writing.

Growing up alongside six siblings, I learned early on about struggle and resilience. Outside of writing, I enjoy the outdoors. Everything from hunting, fishing, and camping, where I find both inspiration and clarity.

I write at the intersection of Christian faith and suspense-driven fiction, creating stories that engage the heart and mind while pointing toward hope in the midst of darkness.

This is just the beginning of my journey as an author, and I’m excited to connect with readers who are looking for stories that not only entertain but leave a lasting impact.
